...is a positive attitude when it comes to looking for a partner?

Do you ever feel yourself becomming self-defeating and negative when faced with a rebuff or a series of non-starting matches/dates?

How do you coax yourself into renaining positive and hopeful of better things to come?

cheers

Very important...I think at some point everyone gets a little frustrated...The best thing to do is to take some time out to recoup until you can see things positively again!!!!!!!!!

when it comes to looking for a partner? don't look. stop looking instantly. You are a man, Women do the looking and choosing, not Men, They are the hunter, we are the hunted.

Remaining positive is so important, because it helps you to remain objective; once you've made up your mind to be negative,......laugh now that's a place few will manage to pull others out of. So I feel positivity gives things and people a chance.

Firstly, I would post a photo. That is confidence in itself.

Secondly, I would write the world and invite every hottie into your heaven.

Last, but only cause baseball says so, "deliver a pitch that I cam drive home"////

being positive could well be the most subjective, being negative can bring real change in a persons life, there is room for both and both can have equally constructive/destructive tendencies.

If Detente is feeling down then thats fine, it does not mean he is in a bad space, just different and open to different things and ideas than when positive, Cheers Detente, I love my blackest moments just a much as my brightest.beer

Maybe you are thinking in terms of construcyive criticism, or taking a look realistically at one's own condition and shortcomings; I do not consider that to be negative at all, as it propels people into action sometimes as they realize it's needed. Negativity in the true sense of the word, at least to me, cannot imply anything good. dunno

Back on topic:
In a partner/date/mate, I don't want a whiny, sullen, downer. That crap rubs off!
I plan on living to the utmost of my cheer & my company must know how to enjoy themselves without ruining the day. I love a good dash of sarcasm, wit, & a show of liveliness.
It's good for the soul!
