Warning about Yahoo personals (10)
I think LOTS of us have had problems with Yahoo personals. The man I've been with for 15 months has also. I have to say "thank you" to them though....that's where I met him.

I was a part of a class action lawsuit against Yahoo about a year ago.
I had a few issues with them as well, but once I got my court appointed refund, they didn't mess with me too much. They've been in & out of court numerous times in the past two years over things like that. I paid via credit card & all I had to do was call the card co & they couldn't ask for payment any more.

(never never pay for anything online via your personal banking... always use a credit card!!!)

it is auto pay.
I closed my account as required by their rules.
but for 9 months+ they kept taking the $$$$ from my back account,, each time I had a hell of a fight to get it back,, and continued telling them that my account was closed.. and they just kept taking the $$$$.
Enter with caution....
They are really nasty about it!
After over 9 months, I finally had to take my original Yahoo account cancellation printout to my bank to force them to stop.
BE SURE YOU PRINT ONE OUT IF YOU ARE OR EVER DO USE YAHOO!
Have any of you used it and had peoblems?

I have never had a credit card but paid with my bank card.. as stated.. I got all of my $$$$ back after months of fighting with them.. what a hassle!

You can try this one yourself pretty easy.
All of Yahoo if bad about spyware cookies!! slows your computer down really bad!
run a spyware remover on your computer, make sure all are removed.
then visit Yahoo several times a day for a week. then run spyware remover again, you will be amazed how many it will find.
do this with anything you install or download from Yahoo! everything from them has spyware added!

I just use it to chat and my comp has a spyware detector on it...So I think I'm ok...I don't visit the rooms anymore...too many weirdos in there....

Especially the sites with a lot of teenagers or the early 20's crowd..

It is true...BUT I find yahoo even more excessive in the weirdo dept...Can't name a handful I met in there who weren't...Yeah it's good...I never even knew they had a personals until they started sending me stuff about it and wouldn't pay for anything that has their name connected to it...Probably all the same people in the chat-rooms...scary thought!!!!!!!!
