My mum listened to it in my childhood, amoungst Belafonte, and Luis Armstrong.... but she was also into Oron Butterfly, can you believe it, jlb684?

So and the very first one I put into my cars CD-player was prolly
a group you wont be familiar with in the states???

They were gay,
were top of the charts in the 80is,
I'd say early 80is...
and did

Why?
Ain't necessarily so
Screaming (my favorite)
Love and money
Smalltown boy dancing boogie

I am glad I understand the system of CD's
let alone MP3...

How do you squeeze normal CD music so it becomes an MP3?

My latest success is being able to compile my own CD's
I mean burning my selection.... roll eyes

My mom wanted Willie Nelsons "Angel Flying Too Close To The Ground"

She got it too. That was the last one.

The first song was after I spoke. She loved this song by Josh Grobin -- You Raise Me Up --- So I told her once that if she died before me I would play that at her funeral and that it was from me. So I played that after I spoke.

Then after her brother, a song by Alan Jackson called Strolling (or Walking? I can't remember) Across Heaven With You. I thought it was appropriate for their relationship.

The last one was the Willie Nelson. Mom was an original - if you haven't gotten that yet, Claire. haha

Iron Butterfly - my first vinyl album was "Iron Butterfly Live". "In-a-Gadda-Da-Vida" - truly the sound of the 60's.

Rave on!!
