Hmm ... so as per the " The MOST annoying thing on CS poll " .. a lot of people detest Cliches ...

But .. i cant seem to figure out since quite some time what the cliche thing is about ..

And if there is one .. there must be a way around it ... apart from being annoyed ... just my serious thoughts ..

What do you think ?

dunno

HI Zell ..

The only thing that bugs me about the clique mentality....the ones that don't aknowledge new comers to the forums...that kinda irks me a bit.....VERY High School

Some people need to get out of their comfort zone and spread their wings a bit more I think.

A conversation and a simple hello should be open and give to everyone.

Sure I have my 'bestie's' on here. But in saying that I talk to anyone and enter a conversation. I refuse just to ignore someone because they're not the 'IN' thing.

And in saying bestie's even if they say something I don't agree with I will say it, not do a cuddle emoticon or kiss or giggle face.

I tend to like people who show their true identity and say what they feel................not people who say what they think someone wants to hear.

JMO.

cheers

HI Zell ..
Hi Riya bouquet That's okay, it's easy to mix the two words up, they are spelt so similarly even though they have totally different meanings wine

The thing is, making friends doesn't seem to bother anyone.
It's when they all hang together & mount an effort to defend each other that people get bent out of shape.
The "pack mentality" is probably a better explanation for the behavior that upsets some of the CSers.
Some feel left out, some feel it's immature, some feel it's directed at them... on & on the reasons go. People here socialize in many ways, just like in real life. Alliances are going to happen, one way or another... but when "wars" break out, it's no better than in real life either. The "mine's bigger than yours" crap is typically unneeded.
... not to mention a healthy dose of "agree to disagree" wouldn't hurt either.

thumbs up

I feel the carying from thread to thread hurts more .. and today to tomm. and so on .. sometimes it can be a emotional outburst happens to all .. but otherwise .. it can be easily misinterpreted ..
" you must be talking about me " sort of thing.

Hmmm... I get the same treatment from 'cliques' as I do from everyone else; Tolerated by most, responded to by a few and largely ignored by the rest.

Maybe everyone but me is in a clique and I'm just too dumb to know it?

dunno

If we just open up to getting to know a variety of people it can only be a benefical thing. Sure there will be the ones that we just dont get along with, that's life.

For instance today, I haven't really had that much to do with Jbibiza, we have just recently started to begin converstation.

She opened a Jazz bar recently what an admirable strong woman.

So many good kind people on this site. And I look forward to meeting many more.cheers

ohh and the cake .. UFO .. thanks .. its surprising generoity ..
roll eyes grin

I cant find the cliques as such. I do feel there are " exclusive groups of friends " as per the Definition of a clique... but as long as people are welcoming to others.. its ok .

And when we defend someone .. if its more for the right reasons than for "my friend " even that is sort of ok.

I guess it all boils down to being accepting , acknowledging and a little bit of tolerance towards opposing views .. say argue a wee bit ( if you cant help it ) and let go .. maybe .. that would be my thoughts anyways.
