I've been sucked in myself... they really are masters at manipulation and deception... thank god though I saw through it... still took me a while from the point of realisation though to actually do anything about it cause I really didn't want to believe it...

It does take awhile...I didn't know until we moved in together...wich really wasn't even a mutual decision..he lived 2 hrs away...quit his job without saying anything and basicly had no place to go...SO UMMMMMMMMM Yeah..master manipulators is right...I had to call the cops to even get him outa my house!!!!!!!!!!

Hugz_n_Kissez: Yes I have and he stalked me for a year...he even moved in acrossed the road from my house..the kicker is the guy wasn't even renting a room...he made friends with him and manipulated him into letting him move in....and yes they are scary....He had most of these traits....
In one sense I feel a lot of pity for this kind of person because they are obviously f**cked up.. I wonder do they actually realise how awful they actually are? probably not... if their behaviour is deliberate though... scary !!!

The worst part is that he still lives around here and if you think they forget they don't....We have been apart for I think about 8 years and he called me about 2.5 years ago..So obviously his obsession is still there....and he lives wth someone too...Stunned....

.... must have been fun Seriously though I think traits in isolation are ok.. its where there is more that 4 or 5 that alarm bell start ringing....
The common thread running through them I think is self obsession, lack of empathy/compassion, and a desperate need to have the Ego massaged.. with guys like that it is never about the other person (although they will try to convince themselves and you that it is.... to ease their guilt)... it is alway only about THEMSELVES and getting their own way..
