I´m alive and well and on my last day in a campsite in Oliva, Valencia, Spain! The weather has been fantastic; only one bad day and I timed it perfectly to move from being in a tent to the bestest bungalow/cabin in the camp (right on the beach so I could see the sun rise over the sea)!

The campsite is used by lots of Spanish people as well as lots of Germans - last night got invited by two Spanish families to a barbeque and the LADIES were twice told off by security that they were too noisy after midnight!

Tomorrow it´s back to Valencia for two days in a hotel before I return to Malta on Tuesday. I look disgustingly fit and well and feel pretty damn good too.............. ok, so I voted Malta as the best place for a CS get-together but I´d love to come back here!

Oh well, I´ll post some pics to friends when I get home............. my camera got full and downloaded the pics onto a friend´s laptop; however the wifi in the campsite is the one thing that doesn´t work properly (typing this in the campsite office after getting a refund on the wifi that was wimanjanafi).

I hope you´ve all had a brilliant Easter, and look forward to meeting up with some of you soon!

Adios! ¿drinkie drinkie?

May I do an interpretation here? Seeing that I actually MET Rusty, I just know exactly what he is not trying to convey....

First off, he probably burnt down his tent, by accident whilst bar`b`quing his supper, and the owners had to put him up in their LifeGuard hut that overlooks the beach. It doesn`t have any walls and that is howcome he can see the sun rising over the sea without getting out of bed?

The Spanish and German LADIES were making a terrible noise after midnite ... because Rusty was there, telling stories, and they wanted to go to bed and were desperately trying to raise the security guards attention to do something about the situation?

He is sunburnt a bright scarlet from lying supinely naked on the rocks in the sun ..... the "hotel" he is going to is most likely the local hospital?.. the burns unit? Being "disgustingly" fit just means he has gotten fat from eating too much, drinking too much local vino, and lying supine as I mentioned?

So.... we will just have to wait for some photos ... to prove me wrong in my interpretation?

cheers

Sorry to disappoint you, but I just had a great time and the ladies were gabbing to each other in Spanish and I just sat down drinking quietly trying to get over a Cazalla induced hangover (some guy called Miguel kept saying ´drinkie! drinkie´in the afternoon and forcing me to drink these small glasses filled with some vile aniseed based alcohol followed by small beers).

I was VERY well behaved and only ´burpie burpied´occasionally while trying to colocate bits of burnt food and my mouth ' - so there! tongue
