Yes line them up everyday...lashes for breakfast...bamboo shoots under the fingernails...the firing squad if they talk without spoken to...and the dreaded bowl of asparagus when they are really naughty and don't read their bibles!

uk_man_31: let them choose.
Freedom of choice rules
I agree.. I am an Atheist .. but I have always talked to my children about different religions and beliefs. (they used to go to Sunday school too) .. I don't push my opinions onto them at all.. I take them to midnight Mass on Christmas Eve (if we are all still awake lol).. It's not my kind of thing at all.. but the church looks beautiful and it's a nice thing to do.
I have friends that follow most different religions.. my children associate with them.. and understand a fair ole bit.
But I must say.. of their own accord.. they all seem to lean more towards .. Cavemen.. Dinosaurs.. The Darwin theory.. Evolution.
It's up to them.. I don't mind what they choose to believe.

No one can force another to believe anything, but parents have a responsibility when their children are young to teach them morals, right from wrong, mostly by example, not by force. Then when they are old enough to choose they will make the right choices, at least hopefully eventually.
