Many people don't bother to read profiles and even if they do they often feel that it doesn't apply to them. I guess they assume that since this is a dating site where people come to meet a mate, IMing you is an ok thing to do or why would you be here. IMO

I think that if you accept the incoming message then, next to the persons picture there is a plus sign and a zero sign - the zero sign blocks them - I dont think there is a way to block before accepting but dunno for sure - its pretty straightforward though

Go to edit settings on your home page, on the left side, i think last in the list, then in the group, look to the bottom left side, it says edit settings again, click there, and it will ask if you want to have IM's...

I don't get the accept deny thing.. I just let them open the IM .. then minimise it.. (then carry on what I was doing.. I don't speak) I leave them like that.. eventually they get fed up talking to themselves.. or think it's broken.. and clear orrrrf.
Oo.. if you keep closing it.. sometimes they will keep on and on opening it. which is more annoying.. (Which is why minimise works better).. 'Heloo beautiful lady.. tell me beautiful name?.. You like to get marry me and come live my country?' hahaa
