So I had a dream with huge tidal waves last night. I saw them coming from some distance when I was in some high rise building. I forgot what happened after that. Then I had a second dream during the same sleep in which I had dolphins swimming around in my frozen pool.....strange stuff indeed, but normal.

Because water often represents the emotions, a tidal wave may indicate a billowing emotional situation that must be faced and handled. And I have a good idea with what I need to deal with this week. Something and someone I really need to address...

I know that water represents our unconscious, and that any sea creature can represent a message from the unconscious or diving into the unconscious...fyi

As seagoing mammals, dolphins can symbolize the connections or interaction between our conscious (air) and unconscious (water) selves, or between thoughts (air) and emotions (water). They also represent guides to the unconscious....fyi

Now I am just trying to figure out what the dolphin dream means in connection with my emotions...I have a good idea about the frozen water... I may need to deal with something that is stuck in my unconscious, but kinda can't put my finger on it. Any suggestions or theories? It's hard to analyze my own dreams at times.

From what I have gathered from studying dream work material and connecting that to my experience after tidal wave dreams, it may be a warning. Make the wrong choice and you may have a small or huge crises. Not asking you to believe me, but many indigenous cultures have used dreams to guide their everyday life. So I am taking said dream very seriously.

My own dream analysis has helped me a lot with my everyday life before...

With that said, I woke up in a puddle of my own drool....

Discuss your dreams and by all means pick apart mine or others...

Hey, I had a dream where I saw myself dead. It wasn't all that bad, really. It wasn't "nightmarish" at all....rather tranquil. Coincidently, I did wake up...sigh
