skwidwurdAberdeen, Grampian, Scotland UK37 Threads 631 Postswatching corrie last night i noticed that tina had to walk off the pavement and round to the middle of the road to board a bus. now, in my experience of buses, the drive on the left side of the road and the passenger entrance is on the left so basically, u just step off the pavement and into the bus but it seems that perhaps they might do this differently in manchester. i'd have thought that having to walk around and board in the middle of the road could be quite dangerous. do they really do this in manchester? i NEED to know!!!!!!!!!!

that was my first thought actually. but then i began to think.........if that's the case then why don't they put the bus stop at the other side? if you have to go to the middle of the road to board the bus then someone could be overtaking. either way, it looks quite dangerous to me.

Was talking to Di about this earlier and we figured it is cos the bus stop is so near the railway arches (road narrowed) - maybe - and a one way system too
