I'm sure there are plenty of sincere, unmarried men looking for a long term relationship on sites such as this. Not too sure whether you can ever be 100% certain the picture posted is really them unless you see them on web cam or meet them in person.

I, myself am looking for that one person. It is a hard question to answer as my expectations have changed. That was what I was looking for in the beginning, but have found that it is hard to completely know someone from a site alone. There can be an instant attraction (maybe lust ). It is one thing I do look for though. It is also neccesery for that attraction to remain. It is hard without the physical nuances that are exchanged between woman and man. The sudden capture of eyes meeting, the body language that is not conveyed. One can however find out about a person if they contribute in the forms and you are observent. It takes time. It is hard to know someone else's mind just by posts alone. Beautiful looking people can turn into quite unattractive beings quite quickly just by opening their mouths. Some are better at hiding their true intentions or self.
There are some genuine people here. Take the time to find them. Relationships take time to develop. Reading this back, I find I am just as confused as you. Sorry
