Remember the little round things, just bigger than a 50p piece and you used to get tazos or something in the packs of crisps?

Slammers are thicker than these, come in plastic or metal, this is what you used to flip over the pogs.

You had so many pogs (some more valuable than others, like the ones that changed when you moved them) then you would play your mates, try and flip over as many as you could with your slammer then you would win or lose them.

Probably not the best explanation but it was fun!
