Luxury. We used to have to get out of the lake at six o'clock in the morning, clean the lake, eat a handful of 'ot gravel, work twenty hour day at mill for tuppence a month, come home, and Dad would thrash us to sleep with a broken bottle, if we were lucky!

Does anyone of you work on night shift 2
I always work 12 hours a day or nite ,dear,so no worries,.I got used to work hard.
I'm small too. I don't know how you lift something like that. I've worked 3rd shift before but it was in a hotel, so it wasn't that bad. And no, I wasn't working AT the hotel!!!
gangel: Niteshifts are not that bad.Depends on what you work... Colleage!!
My job was boring,I WOULD just stand near the parking lots and make sure nobody stole cars.If I SAW somebody suspicious,I'd report it to my SUPERVISER.

I'd get home,go to sleep at about 9 a.m,wake up at 4 p.m,go to a restaurant ,and argue with the cook because he didn't want to cook me breakfast.I'M LIKE....''Come on man, make me some scrambled eggs.I just woke up.''
Totally messed up sleeping patterns, and personally,I wouldn't do it again.
Night shift sucks...... plain and simple. I did it for 2 years... about the time I'd doze off to sleep in the morning, every friggin neighbor I had would start up their lawn mowers.

I used to work nights. The money was good, and the customers were great. It only sucked in the winter (standing on the street corner is damn COLD in January)
Sometimes their wives would get upset, but who cares about them, right?

Maybe you could try some lined drapes to help block out some of the light. I think you can also get shades that help block out some of the light.
