Oh snakes, of course!... One of the reasons I happy to be living here in Switzerland! Us South Africans are never quite able to shed the habit of being careful around wood-piles, its always a novelty to not be wary of sticking ones hands into a pile of brush or debris.
One of my major fears is of trains. Dont quite know why, but those steel monsters give me the heebie-jeebies! I panic when about to board them, for fear the doors are going to close before I get there, or when travelling I always afraid I gonna miss my stop! And their tracks give me the creeps..... crossing a level-crossing I have to wait for a gap the other side and then rev the engine and race over them.... Wot if the boom comes down and I still in the middle?!!!

I'm scared of women. I have these dreams where lots of women are chasing after me through a field and then into a wood.
I climb up a tree. The women run past the tree. They are carrying spears, and have lots of interesting make-up on, and have long flowing golden hair and cute little loin cloths.
The women go past, but then a couple of village dogs come sniffing at the bottom of 'my' tree. The dogs look up. One of the dogs barks.
The women come back. They look up. They see me. I am trapped!
