something that I've always wondered.... why if it's 22 C, it's nice out, but if a pool is 22 C, it feels cold..or..if normal body temperature is 37 C, why does 30 C feel hot when it's the air temperature... any ideas?

You asked a very interesting question.... all I can think of are silly theories.
if there is a breeze, and the water is same temp..... than the air out side the water, it's is going to cause you to cool down (blame the breeze)..... (Just an assumption...btw)
it's + 17 right now, but we are having a major down pour and thunderstorm. It felt like it was freezing outside.... hail was so bad there were white outs. Nickle sized hail.
The people on the bus that got soaked, were freezing even though the heaters were blasting away on the bus.
I just blame it on Menopause, hormones, full moon, new moon, Brew...
