Not so friendly
Well, sometimes that happens.
I'm glad we're friends again,
I hope this time we get it right
I can't believe someone so far away
Can keep my crying so far into the night.
And angry, yeah, I bit through a table,
When you blocked me and I wasn't able
To defend myself against a third party rumor.
Sometimes our feelings end up like a tumor,
And fester, like pus in a cyst,
But, my dear muse, you I still
Can't seem to muster or resist.
Okay then, we've come full circle,
And admitted to each other
How much we really care.
But you're still so far away,
And words are all I have to say
How much your face means to me
When I see it in my inbox with
A new missive, sometimes permissive
Sometimes chiding, or deriding
But always with a face that
Means so much to me,
Even if its so far away.
