haha.. I was saying earlier.. 4 miles one way.. and 4 miles the other.. there are 14 beaches around me. .. there are sooooooooooo MANY beaches in Cornwall.. those are just the ones nearest to me.

The neighbors just drive by and gape
The mail lady who stops says the place looks better.
I do dislike all the broken glass and rusty nails buried around the house.
I guess in the many years that this house has been here, folks just buried their trash and liked to break windows and bottles everywhere.

Maybe there are too many beach stores that sell fake sea shells and beach towels that shrink to the size of a washcloth as soon as you wash them...

I like where I live, that's why I chose it. The first time I looked at this house I thought, I'm home! The surroundings are beautiful, the neighbors are friendly but not nosey. (Except for the demented old lady who lives next door who didn't like my dog!) The only thing I don't like is that I'm renting, I wish I could buy this place.
The things that are inconvenient about it are what makes it good in a way. It keeps it quiet and peaceful, keeps the people who have to have a McDonalds next door away. Despite my lamentations last weekend that there's nothing to do, I like it. I don't get that way often.
