we are all adults here I think we should begin acting like it. everyone is entilted to an opinion and to not agree with everything everyone says but to just attack each other the way I have seen happining these days seems very adolecent to me, I by no means agree with everyone here but I have the choice to not post in thier threds or to just ignore them. this is the second thred about someone leaving today alone. I think we need to ask ourselfs those of us that eather post or are active in the forums do we want to loose people at this rate? if so why? we can drive anyone that doesnt type perfect, spell perfect, of agree with what we say away but if we do that what is the point of being here? I for one like to ocasonaly have civil debate it is very intecualy stimulating.

everyone needs to evaluate why they are here and mabey, just mabey think before they type. just because we are all over the world and behind a screen dosent mean that we dont have fealings that can be hurt just as easily from a 1000 miles away as in person. think before you act. would you like that said about, or to you. if not DONT say it. be positive, not negitive, there is enough of this in the world lets try to be a little diffrerent here. do unto others as you would have done to you.

people just think about it. and this is not directed to anyone in particuler just a generalization so please dont attack me as I will not to respond to any negitive comments.

have a a blessed EVERYONE

I left a hunting & fishing site acouple weeks ago cause I became tried of all the bullying, put downs by the members there.

I left there once cause all the negative things that were occurring on a daily basis on this particular site was begining to take it's toll.
It seemed to me that if I stood up for those who were being picked on I caught H#ll worse then those I was sticking up for.

I did go back there one more time but discovered things hadn't changed and I left for good this time.

If I see that I can't have an adult like conversation with someone I just walk away.
especially when all they choose to do is belittle me or nic pick or purposely start arguing with me or anyone else for that matter.

I don't understand why if two people are having a disagreement why they can't just agree to disagree and move on.

My oldest son (who is now an adult) ,caught me off guard when he was about 5 years old at the time asked me three questions. One of those three were : Why when adults get into a disagreement with one of their peers how come they don't try to work things out with one another and apologize to each other either one of them is in the wrong.

He also told me that there must be one rule for adults in how they threat their peers and a seperate rule for how kids are supposed to treat one another.

this is kinda the point of this....... people need to learn to say, lets just agree to dissagree and walk away, not attack. I have no intent on leaving, I just dont like to see others leave because they expresed thier opinion, now I am defending no one, there are many people who when attacked, act just as bad as those who atacked them. I just wanted everyone to kinda take the time to realy think, and realize that what they say can hurt.

sigh
