Or do most of us want to: adjust, modify, improve or change people in our life? I much prefer being alone to being aggravated. I'm quite prepared to accept people as they are unless how they are includes being judgmental and wanting to change others. Then I accept them as long as they aren't in my face. I really like a lot of people, just the way they ARE.
