I knew I had to check this thread out when I saw the title. I mean, you don't see many men saying "Where are the nice girls?" I constantly feel the same way you do about the peculiar specimen that is the male gender. My long-term boyfriend recently broke up with me and is now dating my best friend. My faith in relationships has dwindled but I'm inlove with the concept of love, so here I am..

U've got the right attitude......the...get up and move on one.Not always easy but there are great guys and girls out there and here,I've been lucky enough to meet a few and consider them lifelong friends.
Only time and the heart will tell.

Unfortunatly there are not so nice people out there (both genders) and unfortunatly we have to go through those before we meet someone that is actualy genuine.
I know how you feel believe me but do not give up the faith. Believe it or not there are actualy genuine people out there. Just be patient and have no expectations and take it one day at a time and like someone said here...Have fun in the meantime!

Do you go to church? Join a choir?

sometimes finding someone who wants to love youf or why you are is a hard thing to find. Everyone here is right, it takes many tries and many experiences before you find that right person...we stumble and fall but get back up and try again..its human nature.
Married for almost 18 years and finding he never really loved me, just played the game and controlled the situation and when l figured it all out l left. l have been on my own, raising 2 beautiful daughters l have learned that learning what you want out of life and dating again has been a very hard thing to do. Dated 2 men in the past 10 years, neither stuck around, it was a good thing for me, grew some more and hey l found my love. He actually got in touch with me, he is from BC and l have known him since the beginning of high school, many years ago.....he has been single for 20 years and he finally found me.
So girls l have one thing to say......just be patient and love will come your way, the right one, the true one....l waited and my prince has found me and l am holding on tight...planning a trip to BC the end of august if money can be found....if its right teh money will fallinto place....
