Heya...yeah I used to have a smaller dog like that...thunder...fireworks and a gun shot and she would shake like a leaf....I always knew it was gonna thunder before I even heard anything cause my bed would start shaking all of a sudden in the middle of the night!!!!!!!!!!

My big dog isn't too bad...if something scares her for a minute...she just runs over by me...only if she doesn't know what something is.....she kinda has our roles reversed and forgets she is suppose to be protecting me....

I'm surprised because America is very patriotic...I hung out in Buffalo NY for 5 years and that is the one thing I noticed...almost every house had an American flag and massively celebrated all the country holidays...

it's not so much patriotic that i speak of, we have plenty of that no doubt, it is the traditions that go along with it, like fireworks, parties, cookouts, lakeplaying, camping, just little things like that, guess gas is too high to do any of those things though.
