Ok, here are the details as we have them:
What: A picnic style meet & greet.
Where: Norris Dam State Park, approximately 20 minutes north of Knoxville, Tn. (I-75, exit 128, then south 2 1/2 miles on US Highway 441)
When: August 16th, 2008 The park is open from 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M., so we'll eat whenever everyone gets there or whenever we feel like it. (I guess what I'm trying to say is that you can come for the whole day or for a few hours.)
Besides beautiful scenery and hiking trails there are several other sites to see close by. I'm planning on taking my canoe, so if anyone is up for a short float ('bout a mile or so) on the nearby Clinch River, I think we can arrange that as well.
I really think we can make this work and the more folks who can make it, the more fun it'll be!
As we get closer to the date, I'll make sure that everyone who is coming has mine and/or Jackson's cell phone #'s as well as specific directions to the site/picnic area.

We need a new CS get-together,in the Knoxville area. NOT at the Norris Park area,where the Outlaw Motorcycle gangs hang out. Any suggestions?

I would LOVE to be a part of it, but that's a busy time of year for us at work. So I don't know that I'll be able to attend. But will let you know closer to time if I CAN.

Things are tentative right now, but we're thinking about a picnic/campout style get together on the banks of the beautiful Clinch River just outside Knoxville, Tn.
The more folks who are interested - the easier and quicker the details will work themselves out.
The tentative date is Saturday, August 16th, 2008.
If anyone is interested please let us know by responding to this thread and/or sending myself or Jackson an e-mail.
Sure think this would be tons of fun for everyone and we'd like to have as many folks here as possible!
