wave Just finished reading the second in the Signs of Seven Trilogy by Nora Roberts - doesn't make me think too hard, but great for basic entertainment . . to exercise my brain muscle I unearthed and began picking through William Golding's The Inheritors - and remember why I loved it so much! Listening to everything - old and new Rush to Bryan Adams to Fleetwood to Kid Rock (his song New Orleans is great in my opinion). We are enjoying this years Canadian Idol - there is some real talent on there this year and I do believe it surpasses the rival American Idol.

You have to read it again - really makes one think about the ingrained inhumanity in what was and is humanity; from then until now and probably for ages to come. Remember Lord of Flies? Now that was ages ago for me.I really enjoyed Frankenstein - books I was forced to read in university, that made me use my head because a grade depended upon it - have become my favorite standbys! What kind of music to you enjoy? Play instruments?
OH, wanted to tell you that your artwork is really beautiful. I dabble in acrylics as well, but compared to yours, I DABBLE!

Don't Ever stop doing the Dabble....Please never stop. You'd be suprised how artistic you are if you can Dabble.

I love Loreena McKennit... nickleback.... josh groban.... old stuff, new stuff. and celtic of course. :-)

Lord of the flies.... great book.... Read the Outlander series.... loved it.

But for some odd reason.... To Kill a Mockingbird always come to mind.

All of Frank McCourt's books are great. The one he wrote about when he was a teacher... amazing how he writes bout his students. The one that sticks out, is the one who loved washing the paint jars.

Just bought Bill Cullen's.... It's a Long way from Penny Apples. (Irish author... based in Dublin)

Marley and Me is a great read... and am set up to read...
"The Last Lecture" by Randy Pausch you can find him on you tube giving his last lecture.... on dieing. More to do with looking at all his positives, a great life, and how he viewed life and love. To be at peace at such a young age, and have small children and a beautiful wife he knows he will leave behind.... very eye opening. Silly twit here.... could not stop crying the first 2 times I tried to watch his lecture. It's not some new age thing, but a man that found positives in everything and every where.
JMO, would sure love to be as at peace, positive and happy as he is.

thumbs up

It does not matter how many times you read something, or listen to something, it's what you get out of it that matters.

To Kill A Mockingbird is a book that I really don't think many people will forget - timeless. I saw Randy Pausch on Oprah and another show as well and couldn't stop crying - so, no, you are not a stupid twit. I don't think that I could, at this point in life get through reading his book. In my opinion, I think that we will all get to where he is, we all just have different paths to take to get there.

Good night moon is the multi generational favorite here, but she really enjoys Dr. Seuss - Have a few of Robert Munch too. She really likes retro toons, they literally are the ones that were on tv when I was a kid, mind you they were in black and white! What really amazes me is that she can play on the computer, treehouse has a great games site, and she has mastered the mouse alot quicker than I did! Have to find something to do, too wet to go to the park.

Apple Jacks (they are gross-in my opinion)! Mixing cornstarch and water and letting them muck in it! I think I have the ingrediants to make banana splits - or brownies! Seems to me that it all relates to food and this concerns me...
Analyze This is on tonight
And I too believe that you and Brew should consider something a little more formalÉinnocent

I think I remember them.... saw them on W5 .... and Phil Donahue? ... not sure what other show I saw them on.

One had darker hair.... one lighter.... one was shorter and this caused some back problems for the other one..... One even went to college or university.... if this is the same twins you mentioned.

They were amazing.

Oprah had 2 little girls Abby and Britney.... conjoined twins...saw them on a special... and they were 16 yrs old.... and going to get their driver's license... It was so cool. They were never separated. If they were separated, one would have to be sacraficed. They were unique in their personalities, and their parents have done an amazing job of raising them.

Guess my feeling that little one would not be interested in sleep was right so it is a good thing I picked up a new book at Shopper's.(Did you know you could buy a pak of 6 100calorie cups of Breyer's ice cream?)Anyways, I got James Patterson's Step on a Crack. I've never read his books so I hope it will be a good read.
