I met this guy name bigmike on here a few weeks ago and we've talked on the phone alot and I really do like him and he is a good listener and he makes me smile and laugh all the time and he likes me too , the problem is that he lives down south and I live up here . Can long distance's realtionships work or not? he is no longer a cs member cause he said he didn't have to look anymore cause of me. Is that fair for him or me ?

Sounds like he made his mind up and you havn´t. Make up your mind and have a meeting on neutral ground. If neither of you are willing to relocate, give it up. If you had not asked this question I would have said there was a chance for a long distant relationship.

My sweety is 10000 miles from me on the other side of the world.... we also talked on the phone alot and have decided that we will commit to eachother until we meet....
I'd say it's true that the distance does make it hard but if you meet and realize you want to spend time with this person then the obsticles keeping you apart can be overcome..

yes i believe that long distance relationships can work if you guys are really that into each other. if you want him bad enough it will happen.. you just got to put in the effort :) such as me and matt.. we are finally meeting tomorrow nite and i couldn't be more excited! just talking to him on the phone and i'm the happiest girl in the world. give it time.. and if over time you two are still mad about each other and you can't imagine seeing anyone else then make it happen. :)

He has already decided that you are the one, without meeting? I know that this has been said many times, but people do become infatuated over the internet. I call it love in the box. Without evening meeting each other. I am happy that you have been corresponding and hope that you both get to know each other better and make some arrangements to spend time together. Flights are cheaper when booked in advance. Share the expense of those trips.

By own experiences, long distance relationships are very hard, it takes a lot understanding, communication from both ends.
The first thing, is metting face to face, then take it from there.
Long distance are very difficult but not impossible, wish you the best of luck.

I must say I wish I had that "ability" to fall , commit, to a relationship so quickly without actual contact.....
I am envious of his ability to do such a thing so Bold ,so Brave, So......
I wish I could capture that type of magical belief that words alone only read and heard could move me that strongly..... Best of luck I am truly jealous of you two and your rapid discovery of one another....
Best wishes for many happy years ahead.

Im going 2300 miles...if its right, it happens...if its not right...then it wont happen...how much effort you willing to put into this? says a lot about how each of you feels...distance is nothing compared to life without love...
