quote from todays paper.

''and never forget that texas had to decide between Spanish and English as the official language to be taught to schoolchildren. The decision fell to Gov. Miriam 'Ma' Ferguson who came down on the side of the bible, she announced: 'If English was good enough for Jesus Christ, it's good enough for the children of Texas.' And these people have the right to bear arms''

Bahahahahaha! Glad I spent time in South Texas to learn Spanish, if I wanted to eat. Glad I grew up with Spanish.

I had a night in Fort Worth and they just loved my plummy English accent.

I went to a bar, where I sat on a saddle, and met a Texan who tried to convince me he was from Yorkshire.

Highly amusing that was.

Sommerauer71: Cannot remember the name of the bar, but he was hilarious.

I did not wear boots and I refused to kill my own lunch.

I prefer mine oven ready.

lucky you weren't asked to hunt it, skin it, and cook itwink laugh i would wear boots here because of how deep things get at times, same hint to jampetlaugh
