New Moon? Naa, its in the last quarter getting smaller and smaller.
I look up as often as I can, right now the Pleiades are coming up here, Vega and Cygnus high above.
Ever seen the ISS, an Iridium-flare or the NOSS-triplet ? Quite interesting....

The sun is setting here also....its actually very bright compared to the orange glow we have had from it over the past weeks, the sky is actually blue today.... Fires must be improving here In Cali since we have seen haze for weeks on end....

Well its still daylight here ...... so I'm seeing some beautiful blue skies with some fluffy white clouds ... it rained earlier today.
The night skies are sometimes very interesting to watch .......... have you ever gotten a telescope and looked at the moon? Its very interesting as well, sometimes you'll see a moon that looks like one from those scary movies on a halloween night.
Once I also saw fragments of a spacecraft re-entering the atmosphere ...... it was totally beautiful as it sparkled across the skyline. At the time I'd no idea what was happening, but later learned about it from the newspapers.
I would totally love to the Northern Lights ...... maybe one day I will.
