if you name your child Shaunasty? Just saw on the news where this kid was arrested for shooting 4 people in the head and then setting the house on fire. Couldn't help wondering what his parents were thinking when they stuck that handle on him.
Do you think sometimes people live up to their names? One of my best friends is named Joy, and the name suits her. We've talked about it, she thinks it's a self-fulfilling prophesy. With a name like that how could you possible walk around acting glum? People see your name and smile, it would have to give you a more positive outlook on life.

Good question.
I remember when I was naming my children that I refused certain names because they reminded of people who were not terribly nice.
Joy is a wonderful name, I love the name Poppy too and Daisy, refreshing and of course flowers which I love.

I think any child with the name Shaunasty should be happy they re not named 'Rumour' , 'Scout' or 'Tullula Belle'. (Demi Moore's children) Poor things!
