My dopey ex husband and his Fiancée were in France last week..
A week in Nice.. and a week in Paris..
He called me one day from Nice.. and was telling me all about it.. and how they had just taken almost 100 pictures in Notre Dame Cathedral ....
I said.. Errrrmm... 'Notre Dame is in Paris.. you have been there yet'
They were so impressed they had seen it.. duh!

Paris is closed in August! Everyone bales out to escape the heat. Don´t eat or drink anything on the Champs Elysee it will cost a fortune,as in all tourist areas. Chinatown is great for food.
Metro......Buy a carnet of tickets,much cheaper that way.
Parisians are ignorant self centred snobs,even the French hate them.
Apart from that Paris is one of the most fascinating and beautiful cities in the world.
Enjoy.
Zaragoza.Big expo there right now about sustainable living and water.(bizarrely the whole thing was threatened by flooding in the spring whilst under construction!)
Now it is HOT HOT HOT. Don´t leave the city.There is nothing to see for miles and miles until you get to Madrid.
