I have to have protective symbols on or near my house doors for one,and if I feel uncomfortable in a house or appartement I won't stay there.Along those lines I never sit with my back towards a closed room that feels strange.

yep, that's what we'll call it!!!!

An idiosyncracy (does that have something to do with idiot?)

Mine is I tend to be attracted to the wrongest men - and probably always will be innocent

BUT, because I am aware - I am changing - can I change an idiosyycracy?

I always count stairs, whether I'm going up or down ... oh, & my paces, too.
Hmmm...that might've started about 5 years ago when I dated a blind guy once. I thought about what it must be like for him & I've counted ever since. What can ya say? I pick up habits quickly! :o)

BTW, hi! I just joined, so I'm new in the forums. :)

Well, you girls seem quite friendly, but I'll reserve my judgement on the guys. :-P ... Already had 1 IM me last night, telling me his buddy loves me -- yet another idiosyncracy of mine, collecting guys like that. LOL

here are some of my favorite things! lol

when I am out dining, I HAVE to face the front entrance... (unless I am on a first date...I try but don't want to freak the guy out..lol)

The pillows on my sofa have to be on the RIGHT side of the sofa and placed one on top of the other

my pillows on my bed need to be fluffed and straight....LORD HELP US if they are all disorganized

my glasses in my cupboard need to be FACED DOWN....no uppies in my cupboard

my towels need to be folded in a certain way...and no other way

taps need to be wiped after use....kitchen OR bathroom
devil

my jeans must NOT be in the dryer and folded a certain way..seams together, and no creases

and the list can go on and on and onnnnnnnnnnnn

oh my, I AM my mother! lolrolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

Boy you really have a problem lol but there is indeed hope as you can change your idiossyncracies.
Hope I left you feeling better.
As far as collecting the wrong guys, we all seem to be good at that one. I think this is because they are easier to find

Me I never buy shoes by the pair must be two pairs at a time.
Underwear by the half dozen,
I keep a cross over my lounge door as it saves my house from going on fire!
I always bless my car and house keys before leaving the house each time I go out. there is so many more, but that is enough for now.
See we all have our own little beliefs.
