We talk about conversations on the 'phone and even a possible meet. He then tells me he has to have the right people around him and be able to look someone in the eye. I respond that he wouldn't get that with either IM or the 'phone and yet he didn't allude to meeting up.
WTF??!!
Why did he suggest IM in the first place if its not good enough and why has he been bothering if the 'phone or meeting up isn't good enough either...?? I did ask what he expected from being on a dating site if none of those methods were to his liking. He told me he was expecting to be in contact with someone more tolerant..... that'd be someone he CAN'T or WON'T communicate with then?? I had been friendly and listened to his woes (and I don't mind for a moment) but.....
