..but I wrote this in a moment of pure giddiness...and what fun is that if you don't share it?
as I was sitting in the sun
its warmth enfolding me as if I were being held tightly in your arms
basking in your heat
my eyes flutter closed
imagining the stroke of the breeze through my hair to be your playful touch
I let myself become carried away with thoughts of you
the sound of your voice echoes
through my body
dancing over my heart
lifting me higher
stirring excitement within me
my heart is achingly full and i lie back in the grass with a giggle
and a shy smile at a woman who watches me
suddenly vulnerable
as if she could read my whimsical thoughts
i feel the flush of heat rise to my cheeks
she's looked away, though she is still smiling
an affliction..my affection..
overcome with emotion
thoughts of you..
