roseofsharon: Some time has passed and today, out of the blue.... I get a text message from my last boyfriend!! Completely out of the blue.....
He told me that he had recently passed a place we often went and he recalled happy memories of our times there...... he hoped his message found me happy and well and sent his fondest regards.
I have not heard from him for a very long time..... why now? Its caught me completely off guard and I have been staggered by this, I don't know what to make of it....
Why does he feel the need to contact me at all after so long..... does this indicate some kind of hidden agenda?
He is clearly ecpecting me to respond, even if only out of curiosity.... but why?

Tricky one.I personally try not to get involved with ex's and move on.I have learned my lessons the hard way.So do what you feel is right 4 you.Good luck.

It doesn't hurt to go and see what he wants.....and just think of it as 2 friends meeting to catch up...just keep what you want out of it in mind and make that clear to him...when he tells you what it is he wants...NOW saying that...what do you want to do...do you want to see him or not?????? Never mind what he wants!!!!!!!!
Just go with what you think...it doesn't hurt provided that's what you want to do....

if you do go- i would take time to prepare myself for anything he could throw at you and think of how you would react.so you don't say anything/ agree to anything you don'[t really mean, just because he caught you off guard. Good luck and be strong!
