He met with a ex girlfriend and now realizes he loves her more afteral.
Difficult to accept as the last messages, phone calls etc, said something totally different.
Anyway next time, if there is a next time, I will keep my mouth shut until..........well you get my drift.
And the beat goes on.............................teddybear

Sorry to hear that ~ unfortunately we can't force ourselves to love someone. You deserve someone who'll be crazy about you ~ not just because he's settling to be with someone.

As for keeping your mouth shut - why? Better to know where you stand and for him to decide ..... you simply put it out there and he made his decision. At some level he did/does care otherwise he'd have never said those words ~ but it was wise for him to examine his heart and truly let you know where he stood.

I personally don't ever want to be someone's second choice ~ I'm worth more than that.

Take some time for your heart/emotions hug hug

He assured me that the ex was history, that was good as I do not build my happiness on someone else hurt.
Assured me that she and him were okay with the break, no drama.

It was a shock to me as two days ago he emailed me that he wanted me in his life forever.
Two days later the ex showes up and they are an item ones again. ???

When I said I would next time keep my mouth shut I meant to tell this on here on this forum.
I am such an open book what more can I say?
Not until I know that I know next time!
Can we ever really know?
This guy seemed to have been selected special for me and I for him.
Well we were wrong end of story!teddybear

Your story sounds very familiar to me. The timing is always so perfect. It always a few days before, possibly just before an event, that you were really counting on him being there, or some excuse, that only the Dear Lord knows about. Why can't he come right out and say, actually I am really not interested, because the truth is I can't get that ex fire lantern out of my life. Don't worry, Jenny, as one door closes a window opens, and there are many windows of opportunity open to you.

Mychelle he assured me that the ex was history.
Both realizing it was over.
I questioned him about this ex as I do not with to hurt anyone and
built my happiness on someone else hurt.
He gave me all his attention.

There was no reason for me to ever suspect the ex still
played a roll and as of yesterday until she showed up, there
wasn't any.
He wanted me!
How can someone turn around so easily? We are not 16 years old! teddybear

His heart didn't turn around. His mind did. Appears she changed her mind, so she convinces him too. I think people behave in ways that surprises even themselves. He may have been honest up to a point, so he says. but be glad he is gone and not playing second fiddle.

Mychelle if people can change their mind that easy, that is very scary. When can a person ever really know that the person they care about is for real?
On the wedding day, after the Ido's? lolteddybear

Sorry that you went through that, been there done that and makes one wonder.

I hate it when you take the time to make sure all is worked out with the past before you allow urself to get involved, only to have someone change their minds.

I have no doubt Jenny that u'll find a real man,who knows what a gem he has in you.Hard to find but they're out there.
