the one from the USA .. sent by the hubby of my Liver cancer buddy.
It's a box of things Trish wanted me to have..
I've been sad and kind of excited to see what she has given to me.. because I KNOW in there somewhere will be something to make me laugh a LOT.
She made the box up for me before she died.. but she said I had to 'Wait and see'..
(thats her with me on my profile pics- my traveling partner in crime ) But now it's here.. I'm too scared to open it. I dunno what her hubby did with the postage.. but I had to pay £40 ($80) to accept it
Arrrghh!!.. I don't know whether to open it later when I have finished work..
or open it now.
Wait for later Claayer, and if you need a shoulder after you open it, I will lend you mine...

I peeped in there.. most of the things are wrapped..
I'm going to open it later because I made my eyes leak as soon as I peeped..
Her cowboy hat is in there.. and I can see photographs of us I framed and gave her as gifts of our adventures... There is an unopened bottle of her perfume.. because she knew I loved how she smelt. I cant see the other things without opening them.. the box is huuuge.
There is a Cd with 'Play me' ... and a letter.
So now.. I'm going to bung it on the shelf.. sneak off to the bathroom to cry for a bit.
SirenLydia: Oh yes I agree, it sounds like something to treasure whatever the parcel contains.
I agree too Claayer - a few more hours arent going to matter and will give you the chance to to have your happy and sad reactions in private and with time for your self to get your head round it all......

open it when u are alone .. all by yourself and free ...
I agree with everyone else. You don't want to rush through it by having to get to work. Take your time with it and savor the memories as you open each piece.
