PATIENCE (is that the same as tolerance?) is always first on my list....
confidence (but not arrogant)
not be impatient or arrogant (self centered)
compassionate (open minded) be positive
not be closed minded and negative
Be able to laugh at themselves first
Enjoy the small things
Not joke at other's expense
Not be critical of everything and every one. (suck the life/enjoyment out of everything)
Independent... be themselves
Independent .... as in have a job, be retired, have something to do
Not be stuck on material things
Depend on someone else to pay their way, mentally, emotionally and financially (not someone that lives off others and does nothing to help themselves.)
Not worry about their appearance and status (must have fancy car, money ... snob richie life style)
not be afraid to be imperfect ( - but not ones where you are abusive, drugs .... etc)
Have a belief in something and someone
Non believer in anything or anyone
Don't act like you are perfect
Be Real not fake
Be honest not a liar
Like yourself
Don't hate yourself

Gentleness (but not push over) - not a bully

Use soap and water brush your teeth etc (don't have to be the dressed best, but have pride in how clean you are.)

Yikes!!! I started this thread... you have all been busy putting your posts in and I was going to get home and add mine...so here goes:
Must haves1. Honesty & personal strength & pride in self
2. Integrity & kindness & courage
Deal Breakers1. Active addictions
2. Violent temper
Of course this can go on and on and on...we all have out likes and dislikes - do we really require a carbon copy of such, are we willing to hold out for the full meal deal so to speak? hmmm, something more to think about...
