Number one do people who say these things in their profile, have had such bad experiences that make them say this?
It is very negative and unrealistic.
I lost a loving husband in January 2005, the odd times I find myself cry for just a moment, does this mean I have bagage?

No headgames please. I wonder if those who engage in this are even aware of doing so.
I came to this forum to sincerely find a new relationship.
I believe in honesty and loyalty, I need to trust, without this there is nothing!

I could say a lot more but will rest my case for now.

roll eyes I agree Jenny, I am not entirely sure what headgames are, think that means something different for just about every individual - and I do believe that there are men (and women) who have so many issues that they blame them on the headgames of prior partners ; those with unfinished issues and business. Baggage - that which carry with us, often for the sake of survival, from one place in life to the next? Okay, well the last time I checked, we don't have the "zapper thingy" they used in Men in Black to erase memory so, we all, male and female will have baggage - some good, some bad, some otherwise.thumbs up Who we are today, is a result of events, stuff of our yesterdays - it is a simple fact of life, and it can be a very positive part of you...JMO angel

As always you said it well eyes.
If a person has had a life he has "bagage"
How often people have said to me I wished I had
met you x amount of years ago.
I would tell them that I was not that same person then.
Whatever life has dealt me has made me what I am today.teddybear

I get the feeling they mean someone who isn't playing with their feelings, thus the saying no head games.
We are all capable of something, just what it is, sometimes we donot know.....thus the head games....lol

I am on this forum to meet someone as many are on here.
So it would make not much sense to play games.
We are supposed to be all adult right?

There are several weeds in the garden, so one need to know what the real flower is so we don't remove it for the weed. It takes a few tries sometimes before you land the real thing.

Hi Jenny,

I do agree with the no headgames statement. As for the no baggages, that's another story.
I too, always wonder why they found it necessary to specify this.

If we didn't have any baggages, it would mean that we didn't have any life! How sad.

We may have come to terms with them but it's a different statement all together.

Me preferred quote: Seek, first, to understand then to be understood......I guess it's basic

Enjoy a great week

Welcome to the forum Shannah.
I wonder if the no baggage people had to deal with a lot of this from former gf's? No matter what, it is unrealistic and not sensitive.
I avoid this kind really.
