hollandgirl: Always treat friends well Cristina. That is incredible huh, the Boteringestraat runs the same way as the Ebbingestraat one over to the right, so it runs between the plantsoenen. See hi to the Martinitoren for me. Always so nice to see all the people having a good time sitting on the market square. Miss the markest too ohhhhhh
Yes sweetie, the square is always busy, i'll say "hi" to Martinitoren from you

Indyfella: I feel the same as the OP. Sh-t..... I couldn't draw in a starving, homeless gal on her last leg, even if I were the owner of KRAFT foods....
hollandgirl: Yes I have/am learning a lot just from reading on the forum here. Some very positive reactions others very negative. Like; now that I read this.........no way would I want that person to be in My life. Yes this forum is very informative, especially when looking for my next mate. Yes much better then a picture.
Good thread Dutchgirl...
Yes, voices written in these forums do indeed carry. However, it's hard enough to truly know somebody, so I strongly feel that what a person posts is only part of them. Besides, there are many alter egos here and on other forums...I have a huge alter ego on another forum, but that is a different story and it's not a dating forum...it's a man forum saturated by young men, video game enthusiasts, and sports lovers, and just dudes who like to jerk around. No women in that forum. And on that forum, Oh, I was going to say much more, it's complicated...lol

You don't miss this place do you?
There is something that no matter how long I now am a Canadian, draws me back. After all that is where my cradle stood and I spent my youth.
I am grateful I have lived there when I did as because of TV and the computer, kids no longer play like we used too. Many other things have changed too and not all for the better. Still have two sisters living there. In Eelde. If they wished to see me they will have to come up hither now.

Is it all not a matter of perception?? In physco babble it is refered to as the "concept of separate reality". What is real to one, is not always real to another..
IMO......... The forums are a barroom with no booze and in cyberspace..

Those who are sincerely looking for someone to share the rest of their lives with like I am, why would I put up a false facade? When meeting, your found out anyway so I don't get the point.
Oh yes I have met Mr. Average who really was about 25 lb overweight. Or the picture was about ten years old. Or the ones, more than one, who "shrunk" upon meeting me. I find this sad really. You lost your chance with me for sure.
I rather stay alone the rest of my life then get with someone that is dishonest ect.
