My point is that we reveal *plenty* of ourselves here...at least those who post often, and have been doing so for some time, just as we have. Of course we don't know everything about each other...but everything we do reveals something substantive about ourselves...at least to those who listen. And I listen pretty hard.

It is all a matter of perception and I really have no problem with you or any other taking my inventory.

I took my pictures off.
I just cut my hair drastically and no longer look like any of my pictures.
Since I live in the middle of nowhere and have very few neighbors, I'll have to wait to get new pictures....
Maybe it's not a bad thing.
I can make a real effort to go out in the real world and actually attract some new friends and perhaps a love interest.
I want to meet people who want to KNOW me!!!

Oh yes I have met Mr. Average who really was about 25 lb overweight.
Or the picture was about ten years old.
Or the ones, more than one, who "shrunk" upon meeting me.
I find this sad really.
