Trust me guy I did not arrive at the point I am today without having to experience a lot of things. I have had to pay plenty to get here.
But as long as I feel the price was worth it, that is all that counts and matters.

How long did she live alone and how long was she able to keep her memory?
I know of one lady in Holland who lived to be 115 and some who were able to take care of themselves well over a hundred years old.

It's not my grandma....it's my friends great grandma.lol
From what I KNOW,she still walks and her memory is still very sharp.
One of my first jobs ever was a cook in a senior citizens home,and I MET one guy who was 109 and asked him what his secret was.Well,he never smoked, and drink very little,but he did say that the secret for him was that he would have one shot of 'scotch' every morning with his breakfast for a strong heart....but that was the only alcohol he would ever drink.
I'm a mason now,and I worked with one contracter who's 76 and he still works.His best friend is a plumber,and he's 82 and still operates his own business,and I WORKED WITH a 94 year old mason a couple of years ago who lays bricks 3 months a year and travels to Florida the other nine.

in all but a few rare exceptions it's best to watch a persons words over a bit of time before forming much of an opinion.

Wow guy you have seen and have been with several who have "Been there done that and have bought the tee shirt.
I do know that you will never be able to think someone as old just because they have reached a certain age.
I have met men who where "done" before they where 60 or younger I am here to tell you that it is not over until the fat lady sings and says so lol
