is audy murphy still alive ?

banana

did you ever see any of his films ?...i don't know why he chose to become an actor at such a young age ?

dunno

in saw him in a couple of cowboy films and that was it man ! how many soldier hero's turn celebrites did america have ? and why have you got to be a soldier before you can be proclaimed a national heroe in america ?

dunno

BOB MARLEY WAS MADE A NATIONAL HEROE BY THE JAMAICAN GOVERNMENT A FEW YEARS AGO

head banger

what do you think about that ?

anyway diogenes made a very interesting point and educated me about Muhamid Ali a couple of days ago on the ' was the best sports person a black man or a white man ? ' thread which got me thinking about who some other national hero's are that may don't get recondnised in the way that they should .......here's what he said about Ali

When Jimmy Carter was President of the United States, for example, and Iran was holding several Americans hostage.....few know this, but it was Muhammad Ali who persuaded the captors to release the hostages.

If ya like YouTube, you can find a clip about 30 minutes long or so of a Narrator reading some thoughts on life by Muhammad Ali. Of course, Parkinson's prevents Ali from speaking, but his mind is still as sharp as it ever was. Look it up, seriously, it's inspiring.

applause thumbs up applause thumbs up hug cheers handshake

SO WHO ARE YOUR NATIONAL HERO'S THEN ?
