It is said
time heals all wounds
and eventually your gray skies
will turn back to blue

But while you are hurting
you believe it will never stop
time seems to move so slowly
with each tick of the clock

You do the best you can
to make it through each day
you ask God please
make this pain go away

You cry your tears
like a river they flow
because you have been cut deep
to the depths of your very soul

Your pain your anguish
you just can't seem to shake
because someome won't forgive you
for making a mistake

We all make mistakes
each and everyone
no matter how bad we want
they can't be undone

Then more time passes
you begin to realize
the pain you felt
is no longer inside

You look up at the sky
there is something different today
all the gray is gone
it's been taken away

What we sometimes forget
someones still there
no matter how bad things get
He will always care

He said my child
I will always be true
in your worst time of trouble
