Roseblossum: I just tried to imagine a world without the internal combustion engine, and it scared the hell out of me.Ok you lost me on that one? Please explain, I am thinking no animals anywhere.

consider not an animal breathing, a dog barking, a cat trying to catch the bird(mine seems to do that daily)
Just close your eyes, take a deep breath and imagine not a creature ever on this earth.
Can't imagine it, and hope I never will.
I still imagine my dog Casey being here. She passed away in April. My little world has gotten alot quieter. I dreaded the day when it happened, and still to this day the silence is deafening.
I guess I am just sappy.
But I know she is in dog heaven having a great time!!! Thank you Casey for allowing me to hear you for 14 years.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I lost one of my dogs in March, and now am looking at probably losing another one. She is Chevy and around 13.
