Since I only date women, I can not speak as to what older men are like romantically.

However, I see so many young guys here looking for older women.
The women I have dated have been my age or very slightly older.
But I can also very clearly remember my younger years.

I have recently dated a gal a few times, not serious yet.
but I am left wondering why so many people think age makes such a difference in experience?

We have had a few petting/ kissing sessions, she is clearly very interested, she is 48and I have not had a worse kisser!!!

Seriously,, it is like kissing a cloths line pole uh oh

I have known this gal most of my life, but not sure why the bad kissing thing......but yes it makes a huge difference in where a relationship might head. I mean... seriously... if she can't make love any better than she kisses???????????doh ( no I do not know yet)

I know for fact that it is NOT a shyness thing, so it leaves me with the 2 options below-
1. just really not much of an affectionate person? not into the kissing touching thing much or.

2. the guys from her past were so bad that she never learned well??

what do you think?
what might I be missing here?

I have been alone a long time, I am in no rush at all.
but I must say, if she can't get over the kissing thing,, I won't try to find out about the rest.

time will tell.

Well... perhaps it is a breath issue. If someone has bad breath or I don't fancy them, I don't kiss very well either.

Maybe you should just ask her...

dunno confused

I am in no rush either way to make any decisions either way.
I am very willing to take the time to find out what the problem is.

makes a big difference if she is able to overcome the problem.
She is such a sweet gal,
and I have plenty of time to teach her if she is willing to learn!lips

yes...older is better

would you want a carpenter or plumber with no experience? A police person or firefighter that are fresh out of school?

Why would you want a woman or partner without life experiences?

Welcome aboard, give your opinion, thats why I ask.

I can't say age is just a number or I would be cruising the nursing homes for a partnertongue
