Okay so far there were only 2 responses so trying this again...
I need people's favorite radio stations OR favorite singers/bands cause I want to get leads to some good new (well to me) music

I really miss Rock 106 out of Spokane.
Used to pick it up on cable and they had an excellent format and played odd tracks from all sorts, not just the "hits".
Boston Pete is decent online and has a variety. Locally our radio stations suck. All advertising and play the same 8 songs all day.

I totally agree with you. Rock 106 was a very good radio station! So was Star 96.9 when they played just 80's music that you wouldn't hear anywhere else.
I do like the fact that they changed Literock 99.9 to Spokane's River 99.9 cause they play a little old a little new stuff. But yes they should of never taken away Rock 106!

Depends on my mood, I have XM Radio so tend to bounce from Rock to heavy metal and to light jazz.

Yeah hard to say. Sometimes where you would think should be a good signal to get a radio station, you can barely make it out with all the static and other places where you may not think you will get anything, it comes in pretty clear afterall. Go figure.
I grew up in the mountains on 40 acres and my parent still live there today and the radio stations come in pretty much as clear as if they were in Spokane, not sure why...

Funny, when I lived in Cadomin, a tiny hamlet along the Rockies, we'd occasionally pick up a radio station from Whitehorse, Yukon, but couldn't get reception from one's 50 miles away.
