You can be right, I dont know what model that was. But often it is built with four identical hard disks that mirrors each other. The value is in the hard disks. 35 pounds makes me wonder if the company (the seller) is really doing very well

At least they could have overwritten them , so Data-Recovery would have been impossible. Today you can get Freeware Programs to Overwrite to DOD-Standards or even above.
