Might wanna read this short story then reflect a few moments. You can do this. You can make a shining in someone's life. You don't need a thanks. Just for a moment in time do sumpin nice for somebody. Leave then and never look back.
I have enuff to sustain me for life. I never brag or make anything big about it.
Sometimes I go to a Grocery Store for the single purpose of finding the older couples out pushing their buggy along together. Always the man is off to the side,sorta following along. He knows who the boss is.
So they're on one of those many dates they've shared as one for decades..
Their long dance thru' life together.
They are most likely living on some type of financial program and waltzing out their remaining time on earth with as much dignity as possible..
Stopping only brielfy and gazing at sumpin they could afford in better times. Wistfully they waltz away in their little slow way of doing things.
Their date and dance continues as you step to the woman and place an envelope of cash in her hand.
Leave then and never look back.
