C'mon I know deep down your all football fans.. Who's gonna win it and who's going to go down?

I reckon Man Utd or Chelsea for the title and to go down Fulham, Stoke and Hull..

Can see Hull falling away after the first 2 results, wouldn't surprise me if they failed to win another game all season either.. Still, old Dean Windass deserves his season of glory

Behave fella! We (Everton) will win the Uefa cup and finish 5th again..

Whereas Liverpool will do their usual trick of doing nothing in the league despite all the media 'promise' and will end up running to FIfa or Uefa to get the rules changed for them again..

Hello Seabiscuit

well i have thought about this for almost 10 seconds. The first part of your question is simple CHELSEA are going to win

Portsmouth however are the team to go down.

Now Man Utd will do well if Mr Ferguson does not have a heart attack.
and Rio Ferdinand does not play like he did the other night against St Petersburg.

I see Everton have started their fight against relegation early this year. Liverpool to win the title,if Torres can stay fit.

The title stays at Old Trafford...simple. Raffa is a very good manager but he's not in Fergies league...United have too much fire power, through out their squad.....United have a game in hand against Fulham, when they win that they have the same points as Chealski and Liverpool..As for Arsenul forget it Man City will beat them into 4th....

Shame about King Kev leaving Newcastle UTD. Surely it is the manager who should decide which players come to/from the club. After all,he is the one responsible for organizing them into an efficient playing unit. The manager is the one under pressure, taking all the flak, when things are not going well. The buck stops with him,and not Dennis Wise,or whoever the Director of football happens to be.

I think a more interesting discussion would be to eliminate the 4 glory teams (Man U, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal) and see who will come in next. Perhaps maybe Aston Villa or Middlesbrough, or Man City?

Now if you want to get funny....Who is going to come in dead last? rolling on the floor laughing

Hi,anglophile! I would like to see Gareth Southgate's young team at Middlesbrough come in behind the 'big4'. Probably though,it may be Man City, with Mark Hughes at the 'helm'.....Oh,and the extra money from the new owners may come in handy as well!
Who will be last? I think Hull City will be the ones propping up the premiership.

Hi there Muleguy,

Now my preference would be my team, Sunderland (yeah, yeah I know. You can stop laughing now. giggle) But since I do live in reality instead of fantasyland (But one can only hope. Think positive right) I think Aston Villa will bring it. For dead last, West Ham. I don't know why since they are starting out strong this year but I have a feeling a few serious injuries is going to take them out of the running.

Hi,again, anglophile. Sunderland? Sorry to put a dampener on your hopes. I don't think they will get relegated, but i can't see them finishing better than 16th.
Have to disagree with you about West Ham,too. I think they have got too much going for them. I think they will finish in the bottom half of the table, but without the spectre of relegation looming over them, all season. Still,as they say, football is a funny old game!

Nothing better than 16th??? Oh Come on. My boys will prove you wrong. You'll see.

I really hope Im 100% wrong about West Ham. That is one I would hate to be right about. I would hate to see anyone injured. But you're still thinking they will finish on the bottom half instead of the top half of the table eh?

Sorry,no.No better than 16th,for Sunderland. But,while they are your team,i will keep my fingers crossed for them this season. Except when they play against Liverpool,of course!
As for West Ham,i see that Zola has just become their new manager. If he is half as good a manager as he was a player,West Ham will have nothing to worry about.

You'll keep your fingers crossed for Sunderland? Wow, that's down right gentlemenly of you. Nice to know gentlemen still exist in today's world of poor manners and lack of common courtesies.

Im still pretty new when it comes to the British league. I don't have digital cable so I don't get to see all of the matches so I haven't learned all the stars of each team yet. Im not familar with Zola but I wish him the best on his new career as a manager.

As for the top spot in Seabiscuit's race...I'll root for Liverpool given you're a Liverpool man.

Hi,anglophile!. You are right,it is very gentlemanly of me to keep my fingers crossed for Sunderland, given that Roy Keane is their manager! Just kidding!
Sorry to hear you don't have digital cable. But you can watch some highlights,is that the case?

About Zola. He was an Italian international who played for Chelsea for a time.
He was a fantastic player, and an immensely popular figure at Chelsea in particular, and in England in general. He is a great sportsman, and well loved over here. No wonder he has come back!

Oh,in case you are wondering about Roy Keane. He was a pivotal figure as a midfield player, and enjoyed a lot of success with MAN UTD. Who are of course great rivals with Liverpool.
PS-: Thanks for rooting for Liverpool!
PPS-: Hope you are also rooting for England tonight. We are playing away tonight at Croatia,in a World Cup qualifying match.

I am familiar with Roy Keane. I am definintely rooting for England.

I can watch some of the matches just not all of them. And when they do play here the match is long over with over there. England vs. Croatia is on at 1:00 pm here. I'll keep a look out for the updates.
