the best mothers day present that i got one year is to be with my son who lives in oklahoma and i live up here in mass. but i will miss him this year since we live so far away from one another

When I moved here it was 2 hrs away from all of my friends and family, and when my ex husband and I split my family wanted me to move back home. I did not and yes at first they did not understand why, but now they have realized I am happy and that is all that matters. He will come around one day, no matter what he loves you!

thanks , oh well he is only 18 once he gets older he knows he will want to make up to me, but i will always love him no matter what or decisions he made about living with his dad.

it is funny you mention mothers day and I look around my office and realize everyday is mothers day for me...I have have five great kids that think their mom is the best thing every despite their father and step mother telling them I am trash....I have so many gifts from my children and the memories I have of them are priceless....great i am about to cry. My children are pretty good human beings, if I do say so myself...........

I am glad no matter what your ex and his wife tell your children they are standing behind their mom. My daughter on the other hand believes what they say, I guess it is because she lives with them and has to listen to it all the time.
