Damianowen: There's nothing wrong with the appreciation of symetry and it's quite ok to have a preference for it but it's when you need it or have to have it that it becomes compulsive. I guess it could probably be considered obsessive when it starts to affect your life or when your friends start to notice you doing stuff that's just to weird ie. If you straighten the cutlery when you sit down at a restaurant you could put that down to preference. If you're instantly anoyed because of the asymetry of having forks on one side and knives on the other, that's a compulsion. If you straighten the cuttlery on every table in the restaurant, you've got a problem. That's my take (2,3,4)
I would then come along and mess them all up just to be annoying! laugh That could be a problem too! laugh

It would only be a problem if you were compelled to do it. If you did it just for fun then that would be ok.

everything has it's own place at home where it belongs and if someone moves something, i can't help myself but have to put it back in its correct position roll eyes

eg. ordaments, plants, well everything uh oh

but my biggest obsessive would be how the towels are hung/placed in bathroom mumbling they have to be folded nicely over heated towel rail into correct colour co-ordination laugh

and all have to match, like yellow & green - no way would i allow a out of colour non matching towel in the bathroom devil

doh
