the result ,which is 1926 ,is said to indicate a year of great importance in the subjects life .

Louis XVI came to the throne in 1774 (1+7+7+4=19) ,nineteen years later ,in 1793 ,he was guillotined .

The only significant event that I can think of in this year...didn't even happen but was suppose to...was when I was working as a guard for Collins Bay Pen and there was a planned helicopter assault on the prison to break out 6 Tamil Tigers...luckily there was a tip and they ended up dealing with undercover officers on the street...the deal involved 7 million dollars of cocaine a helicopter and rocket launchers...the thing is the staff weren't even told until after the arrests on the outside and transfer of the inmates on the inside...so we went to work for months being asked to keep individuals under surveillance knowing something bad was going to happen but not what....so it was a very trying time....they featured this on Unsolved Mysteries once as a solved mystery so that was kinda cool....the most significant event for me would have happened the following year in 1991 which was the year I had my kids!!!!!

This is kind of a kewwwllllllll thing though.....

1993: The World Wide Web (internets as Bush would say) was born. I think Al Gore would argue thislaugh

- Waco siege in Texas.

- First World Trade Center bombing. Terrorists detonate bomb in underground car park.

- Played my first year of pro ball in the minors and exploited as many baseball groupies as I could=profit.....

Hey SF.Black Mariah.(local)
Other no name bands.
Yes.Van Halen .Ted Nugent.Led Zepplin.
Ac/Dc(very simple to play)
Chicago.
Truth be told everyone played, Smoke on the water by Deep Purple.
25 or 6, 2, 4. by Chicago.
Stairway to Heaven.Led Zepplin.

Nugent.Stranglehold,Great White Buffalo,Lots of Ted.
Ac/Dc,Highway to hell.
Van Halen,Eruption.
Started getting into Kansas and Molly Hatchet.38 Special, Iron Maiden....
Played till my fingers bled and the needle wore out the albums.

Just local stuff enough to get the neighbors to call the cops on us.Sometime people would stop and watch. Garage type band.

I played guitar .Have a 1978 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe. Also have an acoustic nylon strings. It's a kick around. The kind you don't mind taking on a camping trip, getting drunk and tripping over.

Do you play?

I love the Doobie Brothers and I am so incapable of growing a proper manly beard.

Yeah, I've been playing the last month of the season. I totally got my motivation back and plan on playing for sure next year. I think being back home for 5 weeks and taking a step back from baseball really helped me get some perspective. I still love playing and getting paid for it. I just love competing and escaping the world for a bit by being on the diamond. Next year is huge. We (Swedish National team) are playing in the world championships and we will be taking on Cuba, USA and Japan in some of the gamesuh oh

We've played Cuba before, and they destroyed us, but it was cool and maybe we can get a better game next year. But one big bonus is that we will be gong to Arizona to play some exhibition games against some minor league teams next spring....

So the team to beat is Cuba.Wondering how the US stand in this?
If im not getting my leagues confused Japan used to be impossible to beat at one point.,for the US when i followed a bit.
So what's you batting average, say over the last three years?

About .360. I need to use my glasses next year, cause I am not seeing the ball like I used to. My goal next year is to win the batting title again. I've done it 3 times before, but if I can do it at age 36, that would be awesome. Ah, I should bump my thread cause I don't want to hijack this thread...lol
